Hi,

 

I have been away for while from BS, Played a-10 mostly but it seems to be little too hard to me with all that avionics. Great sim anyway.

 

New IL-2 was a big dissappointment because it stutters all the time and i cannot enjoy flying it at the current state, hope the got fixed it.

 

So i think playing great BS again, so my question is there coming patch to BS anymore and if it is, any estimate for it?

The only planed patch for BS is going to be the compatibilty to A-10C Patch. Last I herd it would be about 4 month's out at least after they are dun with A-10C patching.

A month ago Wags said in an interview:

 

VE: Will customers who purchase DCS: A-10C be able to expect ongoing support in the way of content updates or patches? What sort of support roadmap is currently planned for DCS: A-10C?

 

MW: We are already at work on a Nevada expansion map (home of Nellis AFB for training and Red / Green Flag exercises) and an A-10C Upgrade Pack. We'll be talking more about these in the coming months. We will also plan to release upgrades to DCS: Black Shark and Flaming Cliffs 2.

 

I don't know of any more recent info.

I've been flying the A10 for a month and today i fired up BS after a year or so. And omg, it's hard to fly! What an idiot i was, trying to fight in that thing :doh: All that trimming, i just can't hold it steady. Even if the patch does come, i'm sticking with the hawg :pilotfly:

exact same here, its so hard to get back in that chopper after getting used to fixed wings :joystick:

 

PS: But it will be great fun to have a attack pack with sharks and hogs on the same side.....coalition force....as they call it :-)

In Greek language, officially, by saying pilot we mean the man who fly a fixed wing aircraft. When we want to refer to the man who fly a rotary wing aircraft we call him with a word similar to "operator".

 

When I served in the Army Aviation, an Apache pilot told me that they prefer the term "operator" as they don't feel they are the same as pilots...

 

Years later, after I 've tried to fly the Shark, I believe that I understand what he was talking about.

I always feel with the BS = Army

With the A10c = Airforce

 

Or with the Black Shark , in addition to being a really good helicopter operative you are more like this;-

 

Where as with the Hog;-

 

and;-

 

 

Just adjust your tactics accordingly!:D:D
