I too don't have too much time for MP and can jump into the cockpit only very randomly. Can I try to fly SP with 3 AI wingmen to get these missions running? Is this a possible way?

If you have time to fly offline, why you don't have time to fly online?

Do you need more time to fly online? Is online gameing a time warp?

OK, starting TeamSpeak is takeing a lot of time.... hm.. 3sec?

- sorry, I can't understand things like that -

Most of the missions are done for up to 8 clients.

So it is better to decrease the numbers of enemys.

Please note:

If you delete some enemys you will break some important triggers!

Added A.I. wingmans will not activate triggers. If they fly into areas without you no enemys will spawn.

To change this missions to a good SP version is a lot of work and you need a lot of knowledge about the logic of the missions.

Please wait till I created the SP version. Till then you can try it without changes.

but ... after starting TS it takes a lot of time (30 min I would guess) until all members are online, discussed the mission/settings etc. and then in the cockpit flying. I would love to, maybe I can fly with your german squadron once - but family is often requiring immediate attention - and I can't pause in the middle of a flight when in multiplayer I guess.

Anyway thanks for your great work. Maybe you'll see me in the squads forum some time.

Yes I'm a big pighead and had to swallow my own pride.

I'm a admin of a active squadron and don't have to be that egositic.

No, no, not at all. You releasing your missions is not a "swallow of pride" act, it is a sharing act and I can bet the community is grateful.

Thanks, Dragon, as ever, these files are very well made and it's good of you to share them.

What is the .lma3 file in the upload package, please?

What is the .lma3 file in the upload package, please?

This is a file Modman is useing. Please don't unzip the missionpack.

Please install it with Modman.

You need Modman 7.3.0

http://www.lockonfiles.com/index.php/files/file/889-modman-73/

... and the Warthog-Update

I don't want Modman. I've always just unzipped the files into a "Dragonsmissionpack" (or similarly named) folder in my /missions/multiplayer file and they work just fine.

Once the modder-guys will release some mods you will need Modman.

Modman is a must-have for DCS:BS and FC2 and will be a must-have for DCS:WH too.

Modman is a awesome tool to install/uninstall mods.

It creats backups automatically and knows if a mod is using files a other mod is using too.

I have been playing "The_Dam" mission online in MultiPlayer mode hit and miss for a couple of weeks. I was wondering how to find this mission. Asked around and found your mission pack in the MISSIONS folder in ED forums, under advanced search, I input DRAGONs.

I found your training pack and also the missions pack.

I downloaded "The_Dam" .miz module into my Warthog single player Missions folder through the C:\Program Files\ path , in My Computer.

Then as instructed as to your post, created the mission in Multiplayer LAN as my own entity and good to go.

Thank you.

"ONLY FOR V1.1.0.7"

Hey Dragon,

Does this mean do not use on 1.1.0.8 and is it meant for your missionpack or the Modman Link you have just above the warning?

I am having a -very- annoying issue wherein your readme displays across the screen upon mission launch.

To demonstrate I have taken a screenshot of the start of one such mission, this happens in mp and sp and appears 1/2way through the "Please wait" loading section.

Dragon, you are probably the best mission maker out there and I REALLY want to give these a shot!

Yes, what's the problem with it?

It will be displayed for 60 sec and only the server host will see it.

If this is a problem for you please open the mission in the editor and do following:

1st: Open the Briefing and add: "Edited by sam777777" below the mission name.

2nd: Open the Trigger list and delete the first MISSIONSTART trigger. I think I named it "EDIT". Take a look at the action (right column) before you delete it.

There have to be the action "MESSAGE TO ALL".

If you don't want to delete it you also can change the displaying time.

At the moment it's 60 sec.
