I also have massive problems hosting and playing the missions simultaneously. Don't know what the reason is. Graphics card seems happy, so does my processor. The only thing I noticed just now is that BS2 is only using 4gb ram even if there are another 4 available.

 

My System specs are:

Phenom x6 1075

AMD Radeon HD6800

8gb ram

Guys, I can't believe that this is because of my missions.

In mutiplayer the performance is worse than in singleplayer, this is a fact.

 

Do you guys don't have problems in other missions?

Little update:

 

Since the last version I spend ca. 20h of intensive editor work because of some JTAC problems with units with holdingtime.

The most work is to remove all the holdingtimes of the units and to rework the trigger list.

Now all the units are active. The random triggered units will get deactivated at missionstart and moving units are set to AI OFF till the players/clients are in the area.

I hope the JTACs will report the units without problems now.

 

In addition I changed some things in GudautaRush. I removed some JTACs but added this function directly to the "Stryker convoy" witch will report the enemy checkpoints on his route to the airport.

 

I also moved the JTACs in RookieTerrorists to a higher location because they get killed although they are "invisible" and "immortal". :doh: Don't ask...

 

And of course I changed the mission settings of civil traffic from forced medium to unforced. ;)

 

Today evening I will test all this changes.

If all goes well I will release the missionpack after the test. :joystick:

I don't know, because I just played your missions since BS2 came out. I just wanted to say that HiJack isn't the only one having problems hosting them. I also, like him, have yet to find a reason for this.

 

I will try to edit your missions, meaning that I will reduce the civ traffic. Maybe that helps. And no worries, I will not publish them.

Sorry guys, no missionpack today. :(

I'm not finished with my test and my girlfriend want to see me on the coutch.

Guy's I'm sorry.... it's the fault of my girlfriend! :music_whistling:

She stressed me out and I did a misstake in my missions. :doh:

 

The JTACs in Operation Bigfoot and Thunderstruck get killed before they get active!

 

Why?

In the last minute before I released the missionpack, I changed the way the JTACs will get active.

I removed the holdingtime and set the A.I. to OFF at missionstart.

I did't know that the "invisible" and "immortal" option will get deactivated also with A.I. OFF and the JTACs get killed.

 

I will fix this in the next version.

 

I'm already working on v6.4

Also I want to optimize the triggers in all the missions.

... and I have a surprise for you guys... :smartass:

I will finish the new mission "Red Cross Massacre" today.

Tomorrow will be the test of the mission by our squadron guys.

If all goes well I will release the next version of the missionpack this weekend.

As you may have seen on the news, a charity run by the Red-Cross in the Zugdidi-Mestia-Valley has fallen victim to a bloody terror attack.

What the reportes don't know is that the terrorist organisation "Rasplata", which is very active in this area, has claimed responsibility for this attack.

They have taken the few survivors hostage and demand that all military forces be pulled out of the area arround Mestia.

We assume that the terrorists have strengthen their position in the valley with road blocks and checkpoints to defend the Red-Cross station.

However, we will not negotiate with terrorists!

A mobile task force will advance on the Red-Cross station, rescue the hostages and kick some terrorist asses!

Hi Chaz,

 

I don't know why the tanker is doing that. He should do a normal orbit. This must be a A.I. isue.

I will delete and re-add the tanker for the next version (after next patch/hotfix)

Played some of Red Cross Massacre tonight, quite an enjoyable mission. Its good fun doing a cluster bomb run on the roadblocks and having the Ka-50s clean up whats left.

 

A note for the tanker...

 

Add an extra waypoint and use Race Track orbit. It was exhausting trying to keep the thing in position to get fuel. Also, I'm not sure if it was due to other aircraft, but in attempting to refuel myself and my wingman got several missile warnings while with the tanker. Perhaps move it slightly away from the combat area or increase its altitude. Other than that it was some great fun.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
