Had a good approach and touchdown speed but suddenly, not too long after touchdown, right wheel & rear right wing exploded and all hell broke loose.

Was this a bug or a simulated RL "random" malfunction ie. overstressed airframe etc.? I swear I didn't put more then 5000hrs into my Hog!:joystick:

IIRC, there is a bug where somehow the tires get "stuck" in the runway and it tears off the landing gear. It has happened to me on my nosewheel once or twice.

Good that you there was no ordinance under wings. ;)

Could just be a terrain bug that nobody has caught yet. Do you have a track of it by any chance? If we can reproduce it, we can submit a report and get it fixed.

Or maybe you got hit in the landing gear with a time delay 23mm shell that just happened to be timed to explode on landing?

Or maybe just a pothole. Gotta be careful out there while driving!

Hmm, that sounds like a most plausible explanation!

Here's the track file. Fast forward 13 minutes into the mission:

I know that the same happens in blackshark if you have a z-buffer error where the ground renders "through" the airfield.

Also when those US bastards with their 23 mm cannons lie waiting behind a bush, plotting to shoot out my landing gears as I taxi on the runway.

Well that didn't work, when I opened the track, you taxied onto the parallel taxiway and started to takeoff, then veered off the taxiway and tried to takeoff offroad, which shortly resulted in an exploding airplane about 30 seconds into the mission.

That was nice - LOL - landing. Did you contact tower? Next time instruct them to CLEAN the damn runway! :megalol:

Which is happening to all my tracks. As if something is wrong with them. Saved the track of takeoff - some sightseeing - landing. Loaded the track ... it shows I never aligned on the track started to speed up and then the plane crashed in to some dirt bump.

Yes I did and they told me:

"Oh sure Kenan, the runway is clean (garbled, sounded like a laughter?) it's all nice and ready for you to touchdown!"

You think they had something to do with it?

I mean, the airfield was at Mineralne Vody, it's a bit far away from the civlization and maybe they just felt bored?

 sljivovica indeed, what else could be? :music_whistling:

 or Malvazia. Also good for belly landing. Altho you need it in greater capacities. :music_whistling:

Why did the right gear went back up against the direction of travel?

( Even before the weight of the plain pushed down on it )

Is that a feature or just unrealistic damage model?
