A potential problem is the different capabilities of the hog and frog. Specifically, SEAD capability and night fighting capabilities. It wouldn't be a problem if each team flew both planes but some squadrons fly one type only.

That indeed would be a very good idea, but then for example the 355th would have a slight problem in filling the Su25 spots, we started the squad as an A10/F15 outfit, and we select the potential members on specific skills ( and I'm not talking about drinking and smoking weed), we simply dont have any pilots capable of flying the 25, and we would like to keep it that way to keep the squad as stable and homogene as possible.

 

I have given the A/G ladder much thought the last few days, and I will ventilate my view to the 77th gents when I have a funded plan on things.
