Nybble
Hey all! Just starting to learn to fly around and whatnot, but I am struggling with some of the view controls. For instance, when I want to look at the left MFCD, I use the buttons NUM0 + NUM4, which focuses on the display. However I have to hold down NUM0 for it to keep that view. What I'm after is a way to toggle that view, one way or another. I've searched around heaps, and triend so many button combinations, so I thought I'd try here. Thanks in advance! Zenra
Press RCTL-NUM0, then NUM4, and the view will toggle. Ptroinks
That doesn't work for me. Have I got this right? I'm pressing RCTL+NUM0 simultainously, releasing them, and then immediately pressing NUM4. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Shez
I think you hit NUM4 while holding RCTL+NUM0. Try that. _:Windows 10 64 Bit, I7 3770 3.4Ghz, 16 Gigs Ram, GTX 960, TM Warthog, Track IR 5 w/Pro Clip:_
Ptroinks
No, that didn't work either... I checked my settings, and RCTL+NUM0 is set to "Cockpit panel vew toggle". I didn't find any assignments to NUM4, however... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Wartski
Doesn't work for me either. --- Does work, but a little on the tacky side. Press crtl + num0, then let go, then pressing 4,8,6,2 gives popups, then press ctrl + num0 returns to normal view. I programmed my Cougar to pop them up directly and stay there. Then press a clearing key returns to normal view. Ptroinks
Nothing happens when I just press NUM4. I've tried what Wartski said (RCTL+NUM0, then NUM4). After pressing RCTL+NUM0, I see this, and pressing NUM4 after, doesn't change the picture: RCTL+NUM0, then NUM8, gives me this: RCTL+NUM0, then NUM6, gives me the same result as the first screenshot, and finally, RCTL+NUM0, then NUM2, shows me this: Something is wrong here... Ptroinks
All my NUM keys are working. What commands should NUM4, NUM8, NUM6 and NUM2 be mapped to in my settings? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Ptroinks
For some reason, my NUM4, NUM5 and NUM6 keys weren't assigned to anything, but everything works OK after reassigning them to the correct view commands. Thanks for your help, guys! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Kreider
Although the keys are already registered under bindings in the options menu I had to re-bind the same keys for them to work, noteworthy the direction keys (up, down, right, left) and rudder keys (z, x). As I am still waiting for my hotas warthog to arrive I am using the keyboard to fly and without those keys I did not get too far. Took me ages to figure this out. No, I am not the sharpest tool in the box. Long story short: Try re-binding the keys in the options menu. Clear key assignment, assign same or preferred keys, they start working as they should (for me). Keyboard I use is Logitech G15.
