I recommend you guys to be on a training day or on an airshow day, standing outside the airbase, on the south-west side.

There is a river and right next to that is a dirt way you can drive to. Perfect place for photos, videos and seeing the aircraft from very close up. :music_whistling:

Dawestsides, having pririty tickets is nothing special anymore for real fans. :D

Except when you have access to the media platform in the south side of the runway, close to the action, with the sun in your back all the day.

And you can seat inside the cockpit of a Su-30... :music_whistling:

This ain't bad, I've been to CW museum back in 2007 and really liked it...

I can't find any MAKS 2011 training flights on the web, does anyone know where I can find any?

Details on the T-50 demo:

Test pilot Sergei Bogdan told "Izvestiya" aerobatic details of the program T-50

According to "Izvestia", on MAKS, who will open August 16 in Zhukovsky near Moscow, will be attended by just two flying prototype T-50. the hero of Russia Sergei Bogdan will perform a special summer program that demonstrates the incredible characteristics of the aircraft.

However, in the words of the pilot, the first public flying machines will be limited by stress.

- T-50 is still being tested, so it is restricted to stress. I will perform complex aerobatics at low altitudes with overloads of up to 5 g and the allowable angles of attack, without a demonstration of the machine for super maneuverability, - said Bogdan to "Izvestia".

After a few singles flights in the air will be pick up just two T-50, a day later to be joined and the other a Russian fighter jet, the final test - the Su-35.

It is noteworthy that the possibilities of modern Russian fighter pilots will be demonstrated in front of the "potential enemy" - U.S. Air Force pilots. The Air Show will be attended by 12 American warplanes - F-15E fighters and F-16C, B-52 bomber, a military transport plane C-130J.

"Classmates" T-50 - fifth-generation fighter F-22 "Raptor" - the Americans decided not to bring to Russia, limiting the flight program on the F-15E. The Russian aviation industry is the solution due to the reluctance "light" technology and a desire to participate in the MAKS name only to look at the new Russian aircraft.

However, the study of T-50 Americans no one will.

- The machine is "classified." Therefore, it is a demonstration of the earth will be conducted within a closed exhibition program, which will not allow Americans. They, as well as ordinary visitors will be able to see only fighter in the demonstration flights, - the "Izvestia" a source in the KLA.
