Title is wrong i meant frequency not call sign.

Been away from the sim for a bit after frying my motherboard so i am back on the learning curve.

Just been trying out the mission Smerch. I use real radios and i can find most of the frequencies needed for the mission except for my wingman. I have tried F-10 and clicking on his aircraft icon but the info is not there.

Can anyone help please?

Just remembered. 124 has always been AWACS. At least in the campains. Its also what your AM radio is default to I believe.

The UHF frequency for AI flight members is set to default 251.

IIRC the mission editor will not allow the changing of UHF freq only AM and FM.

When we flew with TARS we could use whatever UHF freq we liked within the UHF boundaries but basically 251 is where its at SP wise:)

You can change UHF frequency under the main tab where you specify number of planes in the flight, there's a tab right above the skill selection that says frequency.

I believe AFAIK whatever UHF frequency you set in the ME will be preset 1 on your UHF radio. IT wont default to it though on startup you have to move the dial over to preset mode and select preset 1 unless you do a runway start.

thats what I'm talking about. the default frequency that your uhf radio starts on is 225, and that's what I want to change. it must be stored somewhere, and its probably changeable.

Ah! I was about to say turn the dials to the frequency you want! :D No clue how to change the default. I'm sure it's something you have to set up in the cockpit if you were to fly the real thing. :)

in the real cockpit, it probably stays like the last thing you set.

in game, it always return to 225, so if it could always return to 251 would be a time saver.

yeah, except that would change the frequency in use for each mission. plane will still start the uhf radio in 225.

no ideas on how to change that, guys?
