Shootist Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Can these MP missions that people have created be flown as SP missions? I love downloading and playing the SPs but not a lot are being created lately. Asus P8P67Pro, Intel i7, 8gb DDR3, OCZ Vertex3, 120gb SSD, GForce GTX 560, Cooler Master GX850, Win 7, Logi X 3D Pro.
MadTommy Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 It depends on how they are made. Planes can be set to either Client, meaning its a MP slot or Player, a single player plane. However the Player plane acts the same as a Client in MP, so i always make my MP missions with one plane set to Player...so they can be flown as either MP or SP. i suggest if it is not clear from the description.. download them and try them. Missions are only small, so not much to loose. i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music. TM Warthog, Saitek combat pro pedals, TrackIR 4
Cibit Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 All those ILS missions I did are both 5 MP 1 SP. Looks untidy in the assign screen but saves on 2 versions. Most serious missions are one or the other but as Tommy pointed out its a 2 minute job changing client to player within the editor:) i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB
Ells228 Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Screenshot attached showing where to do it. Open up the MP mission in the editor. Select one of the MP planes, either by zooming in on the airfield they start from, or from the Unit Selector list icon on the left. Change the Skill drop down form Client to Player. Re-save the mission, then go fly it. Make sure you change an existing plane as this will give you all the waypoints, etc. Any questions, just ask.
Shootist Posted June 13, 2011 Author Posted June 13, 2011 Thanks for that, folks. And I guess if I want wingmen I nedd to add them? Asus P8P67Pro, Intel i7, 8gb DDR3, OCZ Vertex3, 120gb SSD, GForce GTX 560, Cooler Master GX850, Win 7, Logi X 3D Pro.
MadTommy Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Thanks for that, folks. And I guess if I want wingmen I nedd to add them? Yup.. if you look at Ells228's screenshot.. where it say One of One, in the units properties, simply click the right most arrow so you have 1 or 2 or 1 of 5 for example. i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music.
