Hello Folks!

After a good few years on IL2, FSX and RoF, here I am with a new challenge.

Awesome isn't it?!

However, I'm a bit confused with the version number on my hard disc copy, and I'm not sure if I need to patch it.

When the small intro screen appears, it says version 1.1.0, but there are downloads for .06, .07 and the latest downloadable version is 1.1.08.

Can anyone clarify please?

Thanks in advance.:)

Probably is a better way, but when you are flying are there awesome cockpit shadows? if so then its 1108.

Open the mission editor, on the top of the screen there should be a drop down Labeled "misc." open that and go to the "credits" option. You will see the version there.

The boxed version is probably up to date

System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer

I know MTFDarkEagle has a point when he says RTFM but if you're a n00b like me who can't find the answer unless spoonfed (that, and BOY! is that manual huge!) and gets migraines when reading more than 100 words, then by all means post your question!

A really helpful soul is guaranteed to help you, if not at least point you to the relevant page of the manual.

We are all here to learn the sim and sometimes a little helping hand goes a long way in enjoying the sim.

Oh, and practice! :D

Even if you have updated to 1.1.0.8, you won't have shadows in the cockpit, if you are running on 32 bit.

Not sure so, correct me if I am wrong.

Dooyar Don't forget to check in here. This forum is half the fun. There are, a bunch of guys here with hands on experience with the real Hog. (although I can't tell which ones, because some people memorized the FM) If you don't feel like crackin' the pdf, just ask here. No one will ever say RTFM. Just kidding, some people will. But if you get to page 456 and say, man I just want to slave the SOI, just ask!
