I'd just uninstall it, and then reinstall it on your D-drive. After the uninstallation you can copy your settings from the Saved Games folder somewhere, so you can copy them back after the reinstallation.

Just my 5 cents, there might be better ways.

Drag the root directory from its current place and into its new home then change the target line in your startup exe

Example "W:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C\bin\Launcher.exe" --console

Change the W to the name of the drive you want to use.

Also change the entry in the start in box.

You right click the desktop icon and go to properties to find your target line

Make certain that the new location and the entry in the target line is identical:thumbup:

Just copy it across. Easy. Your settings will remain in the Users folder. You can also have multiple folders of different versions if you like - but you must adjust the shortcut icons to match the new directories.

Nate

that wont work:(

Dont matter, will unistall

While on this topic, for Win 7 users, say you need to reformat your hard drive, and want to back up DCS A-10C so when you re-install it, you don’t have to start from scratch re-editing .lua files and you want to save settings etc, in which, and what files do you backup in these (2) directories? Thanks
