I pretty much have the A-10C covered as far as all the basic operations and employing it in combat, which is good enough for me. There are two things that I still cannot figure out; how two deploy air brakes and how to get my azimuth steering line to appear when using LGBs. I've read through all the info. and I've seen all of the videos, but they don't really speak to it, it's just already there. A hand up please.

Speedbrakes CTRL-B (open) SHIFT-B (close). For LGBs you first need to set them to CCRP in the weapon profile.

Setting your LGBs to CCRP will get you on the right track.

HOTAS Speed Brake Switch Foreward - B+LShift (Retract)

Are you sure you are in CCRP mode and that you have your LGBs set to use CCRP?

edit: too slow...

Okay sounds good, but I've noticed that the azimuth steering line only appears when I'm heading toward a waypoint. Is this part of the equation?

That's due to the fact that the Waypoint you're heading to is your current Steerpoint which in turn is your default SPI - Confirm in bottom-left of HUD (STPT).

It sounds like your target is not your SPI. How are you trying to locate/lock your target?

I just set up some random targets out in a clearing to practice doing gun runs and bomb runs on. I figured that I could just target a tank or a bunker out some where and bomb it. I'm using the LITENING pod to locate and lock my targets.
