WarriorX Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Well if you really want to stretch for some hope for the Apache, it does have a pair of fixed stub wings....so that makes it technically within the "fixed wing aircraft" realm. Mind you, this is completely my personal opinion. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Is that you John Wayne?.......Is this me?" Firstname_Lastname Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Say it with me.... "I AM THE GREATEST" Without wanting to go off topic too much... the bit where Mr cage is driving around with a pair of boxer shorts and a periscope attached to his head was amazing. And if I remember correctly the main villian flew a OH-6 Cayuse?
thaisocom Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I think it was MD500 Defender. BTW shouldn't this topic be in DCS: Wishlist? hog_driver111th Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 (edited) Firebirds was a movie I loved to watch so much growing up, that my dad totally got sick of it... course I was only 12 when it came out in 1990. 21 years and I can still remember every bit about that movie. "Shoot'em, Blast'em, Nab'em, Grab’em, Shake'em, Bake'em, Cook'em, Clean'em, Hose'em, Broil'em, Kick'em, Nab'em, Twist'em, Fry'em, ALL GONE BYE BYE!" hehe Ok, back on topic of seriously wanting an Apache, just so I can do that scene. Irafos Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 To be honest, the F/A-18 makes the most sense to me. Carrier ops are known to be one of the most challenging aspects of aviation and will certainly provided a large amount of content alone. Combined with the fact that the F/A-18 is an AG and AA capable airframe, it would definately be worthy of a DCS making. The only criteria I could think of is that ED goes with the Super Hornet variants rather than the C/D variants. I think it would be great if we could get both the E/F (Super Hornet 1 seater and 2 seater respectively) but that's a lot to ask for. I would be totally amazed with just the F/A-18 Super Hornet E variant and would certainly buy that game right away. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
