I have now set up my system with every peripheral known to man. The thing is I have no more usb ports and have to drop one peripheral. Can anyone suggest a good USB hub, I will list my set up below. Also any suggestions on what I should not run through it would be appreciated.

Trackir 5

Logitech g930 headset

Cyborg RT 9 mouse

Thrustmaster Warthog joy/throttle (2 inputs obviously)

Its run off an ASUS G53 laptop.

Cheers.

Go to amazon.com and type in powered USB hubs, make sure it's powered. Look at the ones with the most and best reviews. I got mine there and it has been working great for me for about 8-9 months. The only thing I wish I would of did was get one with 7-8 ports instead of 4! Now I have to buy another one.

I'm bias to internal pci or pcie USB pcbs... I have 4 internal 4 port USB boards in my x-plane server.. Lots of go flight modules.

Goto http://www.newegg.com

Watch for the fake powered ones. It must have a power brick (good). Some say powered and draw the juice via the USB (bad).

Hey Cali, ya never have enough. I keep adding stuff. I use 20 USB ports (on 3x 7 port hubs) for my sim rig and I'm about to use 4 more for my MFD TFT screens in BMS.:helpsmilie:

Yes, some joysticks etc don't like USB hubs. My TM stuff turns on and off unless on the board USB ports (or pcie ports).

I use a Belkin 7 Port USB 2.0 hub without using the separate power supply. It works flawlessly with the following peripherals connected:

Sennheiser PC133D

2 Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs

USB Mouse

USB Keyboard

TrackClip Pro

Combat Rudders

Bear @ 33rd Airbase Wing

iMac i7 4x3.4 GHz | 8GB | HD 6970M w/2 GB GDDR5 | 256 GB SSD | TM Warthog | TM Cougar MFD (mounted on 21" screen) | Sennheiser PC-133D | Razer Imperator | TrackIR 5 | Windows 7 Home Pro 64bit
