Anastasiuss Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Despite of the CTDs in the version Beta 4b the mission gives a lot of pleasure. Very atmospheric. Lot of fun yesterday :) Ah and .. Ranger79 Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 Yeah, those guys were trying to ruin the mission, verbal about friendlies, typed about friendlies, they still fired. Jona33 Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Lol I know. Hmmmmm need a script to yank people out of the cockpit right to the court marshal. Possible if the missions was made by slmod. Units killed by function. Then you can set to explode the friendly killing aircraft. Very fun. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

Abbath Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Is there something different on this mission regarding the viewpoint? Because everytime i start this mission my customised viewpoint (UFC on bottom of main screen) is set back to default. It only happens in this mission. You are welcome to my DCS A-10 server "Ugly Bastards".
Maxpilot Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 (edited) Yes, it's because there is a "config/views/snapviews.lua" file in the mission package. You can open the .miz file with your unpack - software (7zip will do, looks like the .miz file is a .rar) and delete that whole folder to get your views back. BSS_Sniper Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I know it's been a while since anyone's posted in this thread, but is there a chance this mission can be updated for 1.5? I don't think the triggers are working properly now. It could've been on my side since I didn't use any mods like I normally would in standard DCS World. I9 9900k @ 5ghz water cooled, 32gb ram, GTX 2080ti, 1tb M.2, 2tb hdd, 1000 watt psu TrackIR 5, TM Warthog Stick and Throttle, CH Pedals
Blooze Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Most of the missions created before 1.5 are no longer functioning as designed in 1.5 and I doubt that the original creators will have any interest in going through the process of repairing them at this point. I think the time has finally come to throw all the old missions in the recycle bin and start over. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
doveman Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Unless someone can come up with a batch utility that can update them, I think you're probably right. There's nothing more annoying than spending an hour flying a mission only to find it's broken and can't be completed! I think one thing is more annoying: to spend 20 hours building a mission and then to find out that after a patch it is no longer playable until you spend another 5h to fix it  For more information, please visit my website. These tweaks are not always on your end, as there could very well be game-wide bugs. I don't believe throwing out old missions is a step needed to be taken, rather you need to isolate what the problem might be, reproduce it, and report it. In fact I think that playing older missions to see what works and what doesn't work should be considered part of the beta process. Just don't assume that everything is going to function exactly the same as it did before and be on the lookout for anything odd and be inquisitive of the stuff that does look odd. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
