ok, can you share a little bit light what you mean, Launcher.exe and modelviewer.exe are both in \DCS A10-C\bin , so what you mean by "it needs a shortcut seet up..."

you're not talking bout that I make a shoortcut to my windows XP startmenue right?

also heard game path should not include spaces for modelviewer.exe to launch?!

Is Modelviewer.exe able to open EDM files so that i can watch'em, cause if not then its nonsense

Gracias

Find the Shortcut you use to open DCS, copy it - go to properties and change "B:\DCS A-10C\bin\Launcher.exe" to "B:\DCS A-10C\bin\ModelViewer.exe"

Nate

DCS World... Not working like that.

I guess if I want to test my skin I have to keep loading the mission... bummer :joystick:

I tried that before posting, thanks, but it doesn't work for me.

So now I do it like this:

I paste the skin file in the TempTextures, load the mission with the plane I work on, and whenever I paste the new version of file and alt+tab to DCS it applies the new skin file. However, if you add a new skin file into TempTextures while plane is loaded - it won't affect it since the file wasn't there on mission load. So if you, for example, work on Su25T which has like more than 8 files implemented into a complete skin, if you paste only one into TT folder and load the mission, you must exit and load again when you add second file.

With Dual Core at 3.0 and 8 GB RAM it's stable even while I have 8 files opened for editing.

Dunno how it would work when you edit 3D model, but for skinning it solves problem if someone else can't fix it with your proposed fix.

Thanks for being helpful anyway :)
