mpgeist Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I would like to join your group, as long as expectations are low. I spend more time doing cartwheels in the P-51D than actually flying (not purposefully, lol). I will try and get set up next week as I'm away from home this week, but looking forward to it!
Opoch Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Well, I decided to sign on if that's OK. Sounds like a good time!
mnrty Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Well, I decided to sign on if that's OK. Sounds like a good time! Sounds good !!:) there is never a bad time over at FSF :D
Supersheep Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I would like to join your group, as long as expectations are low Don't worry - back when I joined I could barely keep the A-10 in a straight roll... (shh, nevermind). You'll easily gather experience in MP and will notice that you progress automatically therewith. You're welcome! Super- The PVC Pipe Joystick Stand How to thread
112th_Rossi Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 I've registered on your forums. Hope to fly with you sometime!
B1Helios Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 Everyone approved! You should have an approval email. I look forward to flying with you guys. On a side note - we had the privilege of taking to the FC2 skies with the Dutch Flanker Display Team today (Monday August 6th) and it was a blast. I realize formation flight isn't everyone's cup o' tea, but just gives those interested in checking out FSF an idea of our varied interests. I think most of us put permanent finger indentations on the sticks today. After things began getting a bit late and DFDT had to turn in, we continued practicing holding formation in various yet mild maneuvers in the SU-27. If you'd like to see how some of our members are progressing in the A10, check out our homepage video where some of the guys practiced drawing hearts using smoke pods and various other maneuvers such as trail braking over the runway followed by landing in the DCS World A10c. We also fly the Blackshark, the SU-25 and the P-51 Mustang and run various missions. Again - welcome aboard to those of you who are new and I look forward to meeting and flying with you soon! Cheers, B1
BelgarionNL Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 I would also like to join! I have been playing multiplayer/ know most of the systems on the a10! p51 is pretty much down too! I was hoping to get into FC3 since the F15 looks a lot of fun! I am saving up for track IR but its so bloody expensive.
robert123456 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 I am saving up for track IR but its so bloody expensive. If you like DIY stuff search for freetrack, download software, make clip and have something as good as track ir for a fraction of the cost. There is facetracknoir too but not as good as freetrack.

There is facetracknoir too but not as good as freetrack. Cheers! I recommend FreeTrack also. It is kinda fun...making your own clip and setting it up was a blast. I have used it for 4 years now. I recommend a Bluetooth dongle and Wii remote, if you have a Wii. The dongle will cost you about $20 US. The "clip" or "Hat" was about $10 US in parts from Radio Shack or small electronics store.
Dave317 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Do you guys fly weekdays during the day (gmt)? I try to go on MP on my days off and don't get a chance in the evenings. I'm looking for a decent group as MP can get a bit stale if everyone is flying a one man war.
Supersheep Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Weekdays during the day depends on the members' availability. Some work strange hours/days and have e. g. Mon/Tue or Fri/Sat off and can fly then. I don't want to generalize that because I didn't notice a pattern there yet. In the evening, there's def more activity. 112th_Rossi Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 I'm involved with FSF too. I will be around for a flight tonight. If anyone wants to learn flying the A10C I will be happy to host a training mission.

Supersheep Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Usually between 1900 and 0200 GMT, most of our embers are EU and US. Only our admin can clear you, but he's doing that about daily. The mechanism just filters out spambots, so there's no reason you would not be approved. Super- The PVC Pipe Joystick Stand How to thread
