Pyroflash Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 (edited) Inevitably there will be some who will say things like, "It's about time", or "wololol Steve Jobs sucks", but please keep in mind that while you may bear a personal dislike for the man, please respect his death. After all, what horribly overpriced products can he design while he is dead? If anything you should be thanking the man for dying so that you don't have to put up with his annoying press conferences anymore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzxTJCNs3vQ In case you didn't get it, it's a third generation PowerPC processor. It's also a very different chip. Did I mention that it's smokin'? but I digress, it's not all that bad. I mean, if Kennedy Jr. had an IPad, he could have used one of those chair flying apps that give you extremely accurate gyroscopic heading and turn references right? Or he could have used a moving map app to accurately track his course over a long-cross country thanks to the IPad's amazing battery life. With such revolutionary, life-changing products, it's honestly hard to think of how humanity would have survived without the help of Steve Jobs. --------------------- RIP Steve Jobs; a man who unlike many at the time, had a dream to bring personal computing to the world. It is likely that without the early efforts of Mr. Jobs, we would not have the personal computing power of today. --------------------- For a quick chuckle, check out the semi-factual movie titled "Pirates of Silicon Valley" directed by Martyn Burke which documents the various trials of arguably the two greatest men in personal computing history. Succellus Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 He s accomplished an interesting exposee of cynic black humour, and nice sarcasm doing exactly what he told not to do. i could have done better, but it would be even more offending. Steve jobs did a lot when he started Apple, and we own him much of flight simulation for putting personal PC on the table of our homes. The rest is mere consequence.
