Hi,

I'm currently playing the Deployment campaign. When I ask permission for takeoff, I only receive a message in the upper left corner. there's no sound.

I wonder if anybody has the same problem, and if someone has a solution for it?

On a side note, is there any documentation on using the new comms menu?

Must admit to being lost as to whom my ATC is as now you have a long list to select from. If i'm on a FARP who do I select?

thanks

I haven't tried with a FARP so I've no idea! Will try that when I get a chance.

The list of airfields is sorted by range, i.e. the closest one is the one at the top of the list. So probably the FARP you're at will be at the top of the list?

Not sure if I read it specifically anywhere. It's just how it works in DCS A-10C and it seems the same in BS2.

Just tested it and the FARPs do indeed show up in the airbases list, presumably sorted amongst the airbases in order of distance.

Also noticed something strange - Senaki-Kolkhi airbase is listed as "callsign Kolkhi" - see screenshot. I think it should just be "Kolkhi".

You don't have to do it, but it's there if you want to. For example if you just start moving they'll come back with a "Ok, clear to taxi!" comment.

I guess the only one you'd have to do is asking for ground power.

There's an option in the gameplay options screen which I think is called 'easy communications' or something to that effect. If you enable that, then your radio will auto-tune to whatever frequency it needs to be on in order to communicate with whoever you selected from the menu.

Looks like a tornado went through your picture. In the background, everything is tilted to the right. :)
