I am willing to invest in a good, new FFB joystick or HOTAS system. Does anybody know if Siatek or Logitech or anybody else is planing to release something that will work well with Black Shark?

Saitek does not even have a FFB on its line up of Joysticks. According to several discussions on this forum, Logitech G-940 is not doing well with BS either.

Any suggestions? I'm sick of imagining how cool BS could be with FFB, but I don't want to get tangled up in the G-940 mess, if it is still a mess...

You could always just pretend to struggle against forces, when you're doing a hard bank. I did that when I was little, lol. Yeah I think the only half-decent HOTAS with ffb is the G940. The others are lacking the myriad of controls and whatnot. Even the 940 is rather lacking in its buttons. The X-65 is realistic in its lack of FFB in that it's force-sensitive, but I doubt that a Heli would have a stick like that, at least now. I say you'd just have to wait, or HEAVILY research the 940 and make sure you're willing to put up with any quirks it has.

I wish somebody posts a video of how well 940 is actually working with BS.

I was in contact with paccus electronics (paccus.com). They are planing to build a ffb stick with +50lb force that you can place on the ground. Also it comes without a grip so you can add a custom one.

It's a tough one the paccus.. It starts off good, as in the first line beow but then goes bad.

It's a technology people want..

implemented in a joystick nobody likes..

Sold at a price no one can afford.

BTW the price has come down from $2000 euros to only $1420 euros.

At that price they should be buying TM warthogs and using the handle etc as donor parts to create a proper stick

WOW! 1420 Euro's ... any videos showing how this joystick actually performs? BTW, no, I can not afford 1420 Euros Joystick ...

yeah, here you go

Soon to appear on various XXX sites as well. I always wondered how I could get my wife in to this hobby. This could do it!

Hmm, second thought, better not show her. I have always said to myself that if we ever divorce at least she will let my keep my joystick.

Interesting. I guess this joystick is not released for sale yet. I could not find any reviews.

Thats the mail I received:

"As soon as I get closer to the final product I can send you some computer graphics of the core-unit. The specs will be the same as the standard Hawk, but it will be somewhat lower in price. Unfortunately the hydraulics make up for the major part of the price. In addition we try to get in contact with people / clubs or companies that want or produce grips. We want to be able to offer a wide variety of grips. The official announcement will be made in November at the Lelystad flight-sim event. In the mean time, please spread the news. The more input I get about demands and wishes, the easier it will be to incorporate them into the design. Early next year there will also be an extra strong flour unit. ( > 50Nm torque )"

more than $1000 for a stick is not a solution for any/many of us here.

Could anyone provide some video or any more details of why the G940 is a problem (mainly I am interested in BS but A10 would be interesting as well). To what extent does it "not work right" (currently, in BS2).
