JaseGill Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Hi all, Having just , moved house and now having a proper converted garage as the office I thought I would try a 1st attempt at a pit. Even with the guidance here I still don't think I have the skills to build a proper A10c Pit. That said I want it to be multi-purpose and need it to be useful for stuff other than Flight Simming so Im very happy with it as it is for the moment. So here it is. Its in dire need of a bigger monitor (looking at 27" screens at the moment and will be getting one after Christmas, Then I can use the current Dell 22" as a 2nd monitor for gauges. Anyway enough of the wordage, onto the pics. Swaty Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Cool! With a bigger monitor would be great! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My Pit
agrasyuk Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 very nice. Indeed calls for bigger monitor,. with that setup i would look at more then 27" however. the monitor is far back enough to accommodate a 42" perhaps. of course funds availability will dictate the size as well. JaseGill Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 Thanks Guys. I have a spare 42" Pioneer HD TV but cant get it working comfortably at a decent resolution as its 4 or 5 years old and doesn't seem to support many decent resolutions above using the VGA Input.. I am looking at big screens too but I'm slightly concerned about eye strain and using a TV style monitor. Anyone got any good recommendations not above £500? J. avlolga Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Hi Have you considered use your 42" tv to be your front console working with helios ?
JaseGill Posted November 24, 2011 Author Posted November 24, 2011 42" TV as front screen. Bloody hell Avlolga are you mad. lol. The main needs to be bigger than the helios screen. Plus how do I fit 42" in front of me. It'll take all the wall space!
