Sweet info Han!

 

This in particular caught my interest...

  • Advanced flight dynamics and physics for bombs, rockets and missiles.
  • AI aircraft use the same flight dynamic system as player-controlled aircraft.

 

Finally the AI wont cheat anymore, flight model wise anyway ;)

Lets hope its a LOT faster than the current AVI creation.... i tried it once... just the once... not sure if it has finished yet :)

One thing I hope they look at during development is some improvements to the ground unit AI and pathfinding. Nothing major, a few more formation or order options Being able to set a unit to "shoot and scoot" for example, improving the AI's ability to change between on- and off-road status (Going on- to off road is ok but the other way round, although the AI follows the road it drives about three vehicle widths off the right hand side of the road.....or is this something I'm doing wrong? If so please let me know).

 

One other thing I hope they correct is when you destroy a structure (Building or bridge), if there is a unit on it at the time, that unit just remains suspended in midair.

Hey they're implementing FARPs, sweet one question if we place a FARPs near a road and I land my SU25T next to it can I steal some vihkrs and fuel?

Anyone know if FMs for the remaining aircraft are getting upgraded to the advanced model in 1.2? I could swear I've read somewhere that that was the case.
