ФрогФут Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 1.02 maybe? "Я ошеломлён, но думаю об этом другими словами", - некий гражданин Ноет котик, ноет кротик, Ноет в небе самолетик, Ноют клумбы и кусты - Ноют все. Поной и ты.
diveplane Posted September 13, 2005 Author Posted September 13, 2005 opss thx 1.02 https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
192nd_Erdem Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 1.2 will run awesome,I assure you... ...in your dreams :D
192nd_Erdem Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Yeah I find it awesome when looking at a low poly model to the skies, but formation of several 25T's in low flights will smoke your computer :)
S77th-konkussion Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 there are a few things that were said to be killers. something about cockpit reflections being enabled will cause 40% drop.. also these default mig 29 skins at 2048x2048.. they are horrible to other clients in multiplayer geez.. They kill me... [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
S77th-konkussion Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 oh the T-frogs over a city with stuff turned on.. .. fuggedaboudit. :D [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
Guest ThomasDWeiss Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Sure - you will experience an FPS drop. This is a simple FPS test - 1024x768x16 Is 1.02 faster than 1.1 ? maybe at times it is. 1.1 requires tweaking, off the box it is stutter prone. but with proper tweaking, it runs OK.
S77th-RYKE Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I had a lot better FPS in 1.02 with a 9800 pro and 1 gig of ram than I do in 1.1 with X800-XL and 1.5 gig of ram and I do mean a lot more ... almost double :( [sIGPIC]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/madmaxx69/LOMAC/Rykesig1.jpg[/sIGPIC] Savage 77th , http://s77th.com |Core i7 920|Asus P6T Deluxe V2|GTX 285|9600GT-OC|6G DDR3|Softh on 3x22"CRTs|Tir2|yeahIsaidTir2|X-45|Haf 932|Vista Ultimate 64|
Pilotasso Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 thats very odd. 1.1 perfomance is just about the same for me as 1.02 You wiped out the old drivers when you swiched didnt you? and I mean registry and all. .
unclebob Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Unfotunatly thats the price for high resolution models. Acording to these foruns I'm the only one who prefer old(1.02) models to these new ones, especially weapons models. They sure look great on screenshots but are killing gameplay without adding nothing to this game. If there is something that this game allways had since the begining were 3D models. Change that to worse an already bad gameplay doesn't look to me a good decision. I'll trade everyday this models to old ones with old FPS. I've to kill a lots of graphic settings like, trees, structures, etc so a few can take nice screens. Its sad devs don't realise this and that the majority don't have 2000$ computers to run this game. At least we could have two folders with both (old a high res) models and an ingame option to choose.
Prophet_169th Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Is there a lower resolution skin available for the Su25T and MiG29?
diveplane Posted September 14, 2005 Author Posted September 14, 2005 somthing is wrong for me with 1.1 i get horrible texture ground stutter constant , with all fixes installed and even setting graphics to minimum, it was still there? so my test i loaded version 1.02, and set med graphic settings , runs really good on my system= no horrible ground stutter its the ground stutter that killed 1.1 for me just unplayable anyway glad 1.02 runs ok on my box, i will stick with this version atm.... https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
