Mixed Sorcer3r's & Ricardo's pits...

Hi guys.

 

I've contacted with Ricardo. He said he "would" let me to upgrade the mod. If he says ok clearly, I'll make some detailed works.

 

My thoughs:

 

• Shadows will be removed from textures.
  
• Will be published in HD.
  
• Will be published in semi-HD.
  
• Will be published in StandartD.
  
• Will be slightly changed the numbers of gauges (I mean the font).
  
• Warning lights will not be like the ones in 1st page. :D
  
• Some of textures will be applied on Sorcer3r's Blue Pit. I think no objections on his part. :)
  
• May be I'll add my "English Cues Mod" into this. Because we're talking about Ka-50 Cockpit English Version, right?
  
• ...and some additional features that I can't remember rightnow. :)

Edit: By the way, this message can be misunderstood. I'll prepare Ricardo's HD Pit for DCS World. Plus, will add some HD material into Sorcer3r's Blue Pit. Further, I'll create a new Ka-50 cokcpit in another original color!.

You're so right Lokitexas. I've been flying with Ka-50 for 2 years I think. And I still have pulse to do something for this game. But some may have lost it.

4) My cockpit of Ka-50 with one of original colors in my mind with HD materials -- not guaranteed about beauty. :)

I support the idea of a Russian cockpit (after all, it is still a Russian helicopter) with Ricardo and Sorcer3r's textures for DCS World. I also like your changes, but I still leave a black lid switch. Bravo!

Yes friends. I'm working on it when I can find time. Mostly I can. :)

But, I'll move my house next week. You may know how hard moving a big house is. Also I may not access the internet a few days. I have doubts about the rapidness of Turk Telecom. :P

 

Anyway; Firstly, I've started to work on adapting Ricardo's HD Pit to DCS World. Besides, I'm adding new but very little things into cockpit. When I publish the cockpit, we'll disscuss about them. So, we can keep or discard of course.

Very much looking forward to this. I dont think I could do the Russian version though. Learned with the English, and even Devrims other mod "English HUD" (which is totally awesome btw), I think it would throw me off bad :joystick:.

 

But just the HD cockpit is going to be a huge leap, imo.

Whats the downside of putting it up like it is now?

If I get your question right, I can say that; I'm not sure and I just wanted to know (or somebody would show me) that how to install this cockpit skin thing.

 

It can be installed in "Liveries" folder. Then we encounter some problems (that couldn't be solved by myself). So instead, I will directly install it in "Textures" folder and disable (rename) the "English" folder (in Liveries). This way dosen't seem right way. But somehow it works!

 

Well. A few hours later, I'll upload it a server and open a thread. In last moment, some good ideas have came in my mind. I have to do them. :)
