NRG-Vampire Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I don't understand why ACs nose wheel is (still) trembling @ final approach (in the air) :doh:/taxi/on catapult ? Is it a feature :D or a bug ?
Frostiken Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 What, you mean on the 3D model the wheel is shaking around? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
phoenix599 Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 My nose wheel appears to be rock-steady. Can you be a bit more descriptive regarding what your nose wheel is doing? Is it moving from side to side rapidly or doing something else? Also, do you have rudder pedals connected or are you using a twist-joystick for that function? It is possible that something is going on with either one of those if you are using them... Frostiken Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Yeah, could be a rudder control problem, one of your potentiometers could be shot. An easy fix for that would be to rebind the rudder controls to your keyboard only and see if it still does it. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
NRG-Vampire Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 Yeah, could be a rudder control problem... No, no, sry. I mean AI planes. All nose wheels are shaking left&right. AWACSs, fighters, etc. - ALL Carrier planes also start to shake just before catapult launch while the plane isn't roll yet. Very weird if landing light "glued" to nose wheel. Light shaking too left&right.
Tailgate Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I guess I noticed it on one night mission as I'm powering up on the tarmac far away from the taxiway, and I'll get beamed at odd angles by the AI as they taxi by. I would assume a minor graphics thing.
mnrty Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I think its because hes an AI he does that. and when they taxi/takeoff and so on, they are following some sort of path, and therefore is allways turning left/ringt to stay on the path(at least thats what i have made up in my head:D ).
Snoopy Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Same thing happens to other clients on a server....your taxi/landing light will be steady but everyone else on the server it's rapidly moving left to right... v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website
