but it also says i can buy BS2 A10C thru the site and enter them in the Wold using the serial,im just wondering if i should buy it thru the DCS site and not on sale on steam?cause im gona get BS2 A10c P51 FC3 and i would really love just having 1 install,

BS2 is unfortunately not available on Steam.

 

The DCS A-10C version available on Steam uses the same protection system as the one on the DCS site, and is thus automatically compatible. I do not know how distribution will end up handled though - you might be required to download from DCS site and use the license key obtained from Steam on that. That's something I'm sure will get clarified as beta continues.

Just be aware that the patches that are needed for A-10 and BS2 integration have not yet been released.

You can actually play MP with just World. Though the F-15 is a great buy.

Yes,just make sure you have DCS World installed DCS:WORLD is the main game. the Modules (DLC) are mainly 200mb so you only have 1 game. the F15c is a great starting aircraft and there are plenty of servers with it enabled.

To be clear you can play World online without paying for anything. I have played with friends who owned nothing. They used the Su-25T.

Why the hell do people write such things?

You can play MP with any module available. The Su-25T comes for free with the also free main game DCS: World. So you are able to play on the Servers for free, but the Mission has to contain the Su-25T in order for you to take part. Not every Mission will feature all aircraft!

Because this was posted two years ago. At the time, it was true. When DCS World first cam out with the Su-25T you couldn't play multiplayer without a payed module. Thankfully this has changed later.
