Hi,

I tried to configure my 3 monitors for flying Su-25T in DCS World, and I received an exception and the game closes. Is it possible to use several monitors currently? They worked fine in DCS A-10.

Thanks.

Yes it's possible, I'm playing with three 22"@1920x1080 monitors for a combined resolution of 5760x1080.

you need to specify how your monitors are connected in order to get some help, Are you using eyfinity, TH2GO or SoftTH?

Hi,

I would like to use them in the form of DCS A-10. I would to export some part of the Su-25's cockpit to a differente monitor (for example the TV monitor). Is that possible?

My monitors are VGA, one of them is a 19 inches one and the other ones are 8 inches.

Thanks.

Sorry, I should have ask you what where you trying to achieve... I don't know if it can be done, and I haven't tried myself.

An idea that comes to my mind is to put your second monitor below your main one and configure DCS to use it as lower viewport, that way you'll have a nice view of the instruments... you will need to add something like the foolowing to your monitor definition

_ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('5 Screen'); Description = 'Configuration with 5 identical monitors each with its own camera' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1280; height = 1024; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = screen.aspect / 5; }, Down = { x = 0; y = 1024; width = 1280; height = 1024; viewDx = 0; viewDy = -1; aspect = screen.aspect / 5; } } UIMainView = Viewports.Center

ViewDx and ViewDy controls the position of the viewport with respect of the center viewport, have a look at this thread for more info...

Remember that you need to set your monitors in windows to match you DCS setup.

Anyway if you wanna give a try let me know... I'll be glad to help

In a word, No.

You can spread your cockpit across 3 monitors. But you can't export viewports like you can in the Ka50 & A10c.

i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music.

A bit harsh

I came to this sim to test one out for the first time before I started sinking money into them. Sad to hear that the free one does not allow me to test all the functionalities out. Seems to be a really small community and things don't really seem that organized anyway.

I couldn't download the files from the ftp and had to torrent them, WTF! After 24 hours of messing with that I finally find a thread that relates to the SU-25 multi monitors and independent gauges and the very thing that made me so curious about them is unavailable without a modest fee. UBI just got through pulling that one on me!!!

I am a little concerned with what might crawl out from under a rock so I think I will wait for the community to expand and mature a bit then maybe I will come back.

What are you referring to?

While the community may be relatively small, 95% of it is helpful, will walk you thru an issue until it's working on your end.

I have no issues exporting to triplemonitor setup without a fee?

What a strange first post.

You sure can wait but we are as mature as we going to be . I'm not sure why you found the download difficult, always worked for me. What modest fee are you reffering to? How is it that our fault that the thread you needed wasn't at the top? Not sure why you were under impression the free su25 offered all the options you wanted. How is it community fault your assumptions didn't materialize?

If you after detailed cockpit I think DCS has almost everything needed. Perhaps your approach should be reconsidered?

Anton.
