cant delete air units

when ever i have a air unit, i cannot use the Remove option, or the big red X on the left hand side.

Do you have that unit selected that you want to delete? when you do try hitting the "Delete" button

Yes,i am not new to DCS i only fly my own missions,

Does the delete key on the keyboard work? I know it does for me (1.1.2.1).

I've run into the same issue. This is a noobish, I barely know what I'm doing, mission to help some friends with navigation/formation work.

 

At some point, I became unable to delete air units. My attempts to recreate the issue are making me pull my hair out because I haven't figured out the malfunction yet. A new mission with similar units and waypoints allows me to delete units with wild abandon.

 

Perhaps somebody here can see something helpful. There are no triggers, it's just planes and waypoints.

1.1.2.1 installed and i don´t have this issue.

 

I can remove air units with the big red cross, with the delete option in the menu or by the delete key in my keyboard.

there's a few issues that I have found with the mission like that.

So try changing the unit make sur it got the right country and then make sure all peramiters

match I.e. the radio is right country.

once that is done save it the reopen and see if you can now edit.

i have missions from the first time i ran this game i made ( i only play on my own ) and i still cant remove anything ( i got it more than a week ago )

is that mission from the quick missions if so that's locked.

or if user made its possible you locked it?

its my own,i can add as many things as i want,everything runs fine,just cant remove anything lol

Users\WindowsloginName\Saved Games\DCS\Logs

 

Post your "me.txt" in this thread. It will be helpful in figuring out why its not working.

its my own,i can add as many things as i want,everything runs fine,just cant remove anything lol

 

you by chance running win7x64

inside c:\programfiles\?

if so remove it from that and place it in

a read write folder. ie c:\games\eagle dynamics\

c is inherently security locked.

Holy crap, I figured out why it wasn't working for me and I would've been clueless without your help sir. I know warehouses/suppliers are not fully implemented, but I was playing with it during the mission. In the mission log, when you try to delete something, it checks for suppliers, somehow (relevant log attached). Removing all the supplier chains from the mission allows my units to be deleted again.
