Is it possible to have a ground radar target turn in and off either at various times or by using a location trigger to have the radar start emitting?

One of the missions described in A-10s over Kosovo looks like it would be fun if the radar issue can be made to happen.

Changing ROE or Alarm State might also be helpful. That way the unit can still move around but is prevented from shooting.

So can I have it Emit until the off cycle then change location? That would be very useful!

Yup, you can, going by memory here so bare whit me.

let unit drive to waypoint (1) and order it to halt under advanced waypoint options.

Then set it to Alarm State Red

Add an Alarm State Green after it, and make it on condition.

(unit X outside moving zone for example)

Then add a command to let the unit advance to waypoint (3) on condition

(same as above could work i guess)

Rinse and repeat.

not tested, but i think you will end up doing something like this.
