crazyeddie Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 I have read both the quick and normal manuals and might have missed the answer to this. When I start up on the pan I unlock both the right and left wheel brakes, but they do not always unlock and I end up spinning around on one wheel. What is the right sequence to get them both unlocked at the same time so that I can taxi to the runway. = In anticipation of the obvious answer !!
Kalahari Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 (edited) Ok,will take a stab at it. I'm assuming the craft is in 'Park Brake'. Always press RCtrl+Enter to have the controls display on the bottom left corner of the screen. Then you will see how your controls work. To unlock from Park depress both brakes to FULL and let go,they should unlock. With control display ,you can repeat till it works. Hope it helps Edited May 23, 2012 by Kalahari System Specs : Processor ; Intel®Core i7-3930 CPU@ 3.20GHz. Mugenjin Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Do you use pedals? You should enable the display just as Kalahari said to see if the breaks are somehow still engaged. I sometimes get that I have to fully depress my Saitek pedals once to calibrate them so that they don't slightly brake when they're not depressed.
lobo Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Are you sure you have a brake problem or a swirling tail wheel issue? 159th_Viper Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 and I end up spinning around on one wheel. Lock your tail-wheel prior to moving off (stick full aft).
