I've made pretty good progress learning to fly and fight the A-10C even

with the handicap of the Default Keyboard Key's not being true to

there documented assignments. I found this situation shortly after buying

and installing a Retail Box copy of A-10c. I've upgraded to V1.1.1.1 and

after continually getting my A__ shot off decided to use the Training

missions in the Sim. BTW some time back I posted this problem and cried

for help and the suggestion I was given was to go to "C:\Program files\Eagle Dynamics\DSC A-10c\Config\Input\Aircraft\Default\Joystick" and remove my Joystick file which was T10000m. After doing that I had to remap all my buttons and Modifiers but ended up with the same problem. Today I choose the Training Mission "Combat Employment,Precision Guided Munitions". In following the training instructions I was told to press the Hotas TMS Down or press the Home Key. When I pressed the "HOME" key an Outside View appeared which I ran into before when trying to start the Engines by using the default keys that the Manual called out. My Suspicions have been validated over and over, I don't what to Remove and reinstall the Sim so I'm thinking when I was told to remove the joystick file and reboot the sim should I delete the Keyboard (default.lua) file and reboot, would this RESET the Default Keyboard Key Assignments ?

Has anyone had and found a Fix for a problem like this ?????????

Are you playing in Sim or Game mode? The training assumes Sim mode and the commands not match.

Q: How to reset your controllers back to DCS defaults?

A: You can reset your controllers by removing all other files than the Default-settings.

Windows 7:

You will find your controller files under:

C:\Users\<you>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\Input

Joysticks

.\Config\Input\Aircrafts\A-10C\joystick\

Delete the files, they should be names such as:

Joystick - HOTAS Warthog {207A3CB0-E368-11df-8001-444553540000}.lua

Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals {F20F8B40-8379-11de-8006-444553540000}.lua

Throttle - HOTAS Warthog {207A3CB0-E368-11df-8002-444553540000}.lua

Q: How do you reset keyboard bindings?:

A: Go to

"C:\Users\<you>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\Input\A-10C\keyboard\Keyboard.lua"

and delete this Keyboard.lua

DCS will generate a new Keyboard.lua with default settings

Hi FreeFall

Will I have to Re-Map all my joystick and Modifier Settings after doing this ????

Yes, if you have had your custom settings earlier.

Try this instead. I assume you have a tir device, so the hat switch on the joystick is set for trim.

These are default files for a certain HOTAS or just generic lua files?

Exactly what i needed. Somehow i've made a mess with warthog controls and end up with duplicate keys in the same command like :

JOY_BTN13+JOY_BTN13.

Your files did the job.

EDIT: No clue why can't add rep to you.
