I'm confused...

I own A-10, how do I use this DCS world thingy? Is there some installation or something? Is it automatic? I have the steam version, dont know if that matters. Could use some insight into what I'm supposed to be doing with DCS world. Thanks.

dont use the steam version, download and use your key as we all do

 

Download dcs world:

Then go here and download A-10c for dcs world from the bottom of the page

You don't need to pay for or install the P-51 module to DCS World. Thats just where the DCS World install files are located on the website since it was introduced with the P-51 first.

NO- just download DCS world! (it's still a beta! - so maybe you wait till it is offically released when you uncertain)

No you don't have to pay for the P-51. However, confusongly you have to download World from the P-51 page, however you don't need the P-51 module.

The only thing Im a bit confused about is this, since Im finishingup building a fresh new rig, I will install the word files 1st, then the A-10 full module 1.1.2.1 (which I have a license for), now the part I dont understand. I own the original Blackshark Sim (the 1st one, not BS2) and have a license for, but I did NOT do the upgrade for BS when it came out. If I download and install the "BS2 full module 1.1.2.1 " will that accept my original license number to run it or do I have to purchase the BS2 upgrade if I want to incorporate it? Thanks

You will need to purchase BS2 Full or Standalone. (Can't remember what it's called.) Do NOT buy upgrade until world is out of beta. Something to do with Starforce.
