Issue with/after rearming the plane

Hi all..

 

this is my 1st post here on this forum,,

so im both a noob here and in DCS A10.

 

now. my problem is that. after i have landed and rearmed my plane. i see nothing in the DSMS page. so i try to hold one button in to get to the display program page. i then press press Dsms and load it.

 

ok so now i see the weapons at the stations in the dsms page, but everything is like screwued up on the hud.. all the hud items are gone or messed up.example. i dont have the Crrcle for the gun, i can not use maverics. only thing that works somewhat is bombing using ccip.

 

what am i doing wrong please help me out,??

 

and also. sometimes the groundcrew refuses to respond to me when i request rearming. why is that. i tried requesting on vhf fm, vhf am and uhf. no nogo. i know im on a friendly airport because i usaly land on the same one i take off from.

Maybe you have seen this video before, but you could check it out again:

 

 

And if you take off from some airport, I don't know if it is necessarily "friendly". To make sure, add some friendly unit(s).

i watched that video now. and i do the same as what he does.

but still my hud gets screwed up after its loaded.. also i dont understand why i cant use the maverics after i rearmed. kinda annoying.

 

only positive with this little issue i am having.. i am getting real good at bombing in ccir mode :D

Master Arm and Gun/Pac enabled?

 

You cannot see any Gun Reticle? If you for example try to change Gun Sights (DMS Right or Left Short when HUD is SOI) from normal CCIP to Gun Cross or to 4/8/12 Reticle?

 

Can you cycle NAV -> GUNS -> CCIP -> CCRP with Master Mode Control Button?

 

If you go to DSMS, can you see Maverics? If you can, what's their status? OFF, ALN, RDY, STBY, FLAPS?

Cant quite help much as you need screenshots or a track file. If you dont help us we cant help you.

 

But upon first thought I think if its some kind of graphics corruptions issue try control+alt+delete and hit cancel. Opening and closing the control panel will dump and reload your graphics memory hopefully clearing any artifacts or other problems.

 

If it doesnt do a quick mission and save us a track file.

Yes. Screenshot of the HUD might tell something.

Press the Print Screen button of your keyboard and the capture will end up in "C:\Users\<your name>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\ScreenShots".

You need to reload the DSMS after rearming. To do that, hold one of the low row MFCD buttons, you'll get all MFCD pages. Assign LOAD to a lower row button (be it TGP on right side, or CDU on left side MFCD). Press Load, then LOAD ALL. This should show the loadout. If not sure, post a track.

Im sure its something simple i have forgotten to do. but i cant figure it out.

ps. i know the soi is not on the right MFCD in this screenshot, but it doesnt really help of its on or not.

In GUNS mode hit DMS left or right a couple of times. Looks like the guncross is there instead of the circle.

try china hat aft to reset your bore sight on the mavs.

 

are you finding targets with you tgp or bore sighting ?

i am using the bore sighting- and resetting it does not bring i back to upper center of the hud :\

its like its not there

Wait a sec... If you're using TV AND IR Mavs your target may be locked without HUD bore in on of them (can't remember which one really), but I'm thinking you want the seeker to appear on the HUD, right? try selecting a different maverick (work with TV/IR combo to confirm).

Didn't watch the .trk, but from the pic it seems that you have HARS selected instead of EGI. You should use EGI. Check your Navigation Mode Select Panel. It's located just below HSI. And choose EGI. After cold start HARS is default, so you should manually change to EGI.

 

I'm pretty sure this is the explanation. :)
