Hi , just got my Warthog a couple days ago ..... delighted with it but Im having one little issue .

When I advance the throttle for initial startup , nothing happens . What I have to do is advance the throttle over the first stop , back it off again and advance it again , then she starts up .

Someone on TS3 lastnight told me that he had the same issue , and that I should reinstall the drivers , which I did but the issue still persists .

Now , I can live with it , it doesnt trouble me that much , but it would be nice if there is a fix for it ..... as its not proper .

ANy ideas ?

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. The throttle is in off mode, and when you move it to idle over the stop, nothing happens?

I have seen others mention the problem, though not often, which sounds like the idle detent switch is sticking.

I don't recall if anyone ever contacted TM about it though.

Have you tried to reproduce it in Windows control panel? Just curious.

Correct ...... then move it back and then forward again and it lights up .

Just to be clear...

The only time I put the throttle behind the stop, is when I want to start the A-10.

On any other plane the throttle is at idle over the stop when I start with the starter in the cockpit.

So at start of game:

On the A-10 only: throttle on stop (behind the stopper), since that is how an A-10 starts.

Any other aircraft: throttle on idle (over the stopper), since other aircraft have starters elsewhere.

Options > Misc > Synchronize cockpit controls with HOTAS controls at mission start

Actually, I still have the same problem OP posted about even with the setting checked. Upon ramp start my throttles are in OFF position. I have to move each engine throttle TWICE (from OFF to IDLE 2x) in order for the simulated throttles to respond.

I never thought of it much of a big deal but it is a bit anoying..
