bryan256 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Hi guys my name is Bryan, and I am going to download A10c very soon, and I was wondering if My video card could handle the game smoothly. It is a gtx-560 ti super clocked 2048. Will I have any problems with the textures?
159th_Viper Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Whilst the GPU plays a role in performance, it's not the determining factor. Your CPU and OS are probably more important as is your hardware configuration as a whole. Post your system specs and we'll be able to inform you accordingly. Skymad Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 If you want to play on "high" settings, you need an i5 and definitely W7 x64. Card is ok even for DCS :)
BigfootMSR Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I run a Gtx 480 fermi and it runs really nice. Yours I'm sure will be fine but the rest of the comp does play an important factor. Mohamengina Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Not sure if this is a troll thead. But will answer regardless. Yes you will be fine. This game's bottlenecks are mainly determined by your CPU and not your GPU. 1
Sceptre Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 You'll be all good. That card is fine, but we need the rest of your specs like RAM, CPU and so on. RTX 2070 8GB | 32GB DDR4 2666 RAM | AMD Ryzen 5 3600 4.2Ghz | Asrock X570 | CH Fighterstick/Pro Throttle | TM MFDs | TrackIR 5

Mouse Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 In what way is it a troll thread? A superclocked GTX 560 Ti is a very good video card situated right in that price-to-performance sweet spot before everything gets exponentially expensive for very modest gains. This is changing now that the 600 series is out, but still, asking if DCS will run well on it could be construed as trolling if you tried REALLY (too) hard. It's probably just ignorance though. In fact, it's what I use, and I fly DCS at maximum (unmodded) detail settings. I wouldn't try triple monitors though...
