Missing pilot texture

Hi guys,

 

Just was trying out Su 25T in DCS world 1.2.0. I ejected after a wrong landing approach and having collapsed by landing gear, the pilot texture was just orange with white lines and warning..something written on it. Its like the texture was missing or something.

 

Also...how to take screenshots in game now?

Quite strange, i've just checked for this and my pilot is correctly textured.

 

Could you please upload a trackfile of this?

 

(oh and printscreen is the screenshot key, saves all pictures to C:\Users\<playername>\Saved Games\DCS\ScreenShots)

hmm...I tried print screen, didn't work. I'll give it another shot again. Maybe the card ran out of memory? is that possible?

Ok, could you please try unpacking & dropping the attached texture into your Bazar\Temptextures folder please? it should solve the problem for now - i'll make sure the devs know about this too.

i know. i was aprehensive about posting the suggestion. but i went for it. lol sometimes folks are to busy to R-Shift-P

 

i cant for the life of me remeber modding them or cause a situation. so i just thought id throw that out there. i have pilot_p51.dds present within the P51.zip un modded. only thing i can think of is possible that ive added the ww2 helmet to some description.lua livery files. is it lookinf for un announced texture possibly? not savy on these internal workings yet.

 

edit, had a look at the latest pilot dds, its changed quite a lot i see. anyone else got missing textures in the cockpit view of pilot?

Hi all , i have a similar problem with Abchazia skin of KA-50 , i n game there are some missing textures , weird is all other skins are fine , only just abchazia army KA-50 have folowing problem , any idea how fix this ?

I am also missing the pilot textures within the P-51 cockpit. From an external view the textures are present.

Should be fixed in the next release, along with the Su-25T pilot. Can't replicate the P-51 one though.

It seems the P-51 internal missing pilot textures are fixed in the 1.2.1 release. I've got mine back. Thank you ED, whatever you did :)

ok my quesiton might look strange....but been looking for a while....how exactly do you make the pilot appear inside the cockpit. I'm always flying in an empty chair and would like the pilot to show up on my screen.

look in options menu... controls... P51... in general section... it should be called "show pilot body" or something similar. Ctrl+P I think is default key. I am not sure as I modified it for simple "P". Only P51 and Ka50 have the pilot body though.
