Mohamengina Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Anybody who has the steam version of black shark having issues with the upgrade add on for black shark for the latest version of world?
Vitesse2l Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Not entirely sure, but I thought the Steam version was only BS1 and you need BS2 for World.
Mohamengina Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 Not entirely sure, but I thought the Steam version was only BS1 and you need BS2 for World. No the upgrade version was for the steam version as well. Just wondering if it has been implemented for world as it says I don't have the original black shark installed when I do.
Yskonyn Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Try installing BS1 seperately. Then install the World module. Vitesse2l Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Ah OK, I see what you meant now. As you say, The upgrade only require a copy of BS, doesn't worry about where it came from.
Mohamengina Posted July 11, 2012 Author Posted July 11, 2012 I'll try re-installing the original black shark via steam tonight and see how I go.
Kenta Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Try installing BS1 seperately. Then install the World module. If you have a Steam version of BS1. You cannot install it seperately from Steam. Also I'm having the same problem. Failure is the mother of all success.
Kenta Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I've reinstalled BS1 on steam. And I could install the BS2 upgrade for DCS World without a problem. Failure is the mother of all success.

AceKng1 Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I've reinstalled BS1 on steam. And I could install the BS2 upgrade for DCS World without a problem. I can confirm this as well. Had Black Shark 1 installed on Steam and the BS2 upgrade module for World installed without a problem.
ShuRugal Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I have the Steam version of BS1 as well, and while the BS2 Upgrade installer for World ran just fine, i am unable to use the Shark in World.
