Just a quick question, will there be a day and time to test server for ping rates and fly abilty for some of us in the United States, Doing a East Coast F-15 Demostration 2x Ship, but really need to see if it is at all possible with the server being over across the pond. Thanks!

Some questions regarding this:

 

1) I heard there will be an Air Traffic Controller? Can we be in the same TS room as the flyers so we can hear the action?

 

2) Can i come this saturday to the practice as a spectator? Might be nice to practice spectator management on the dry run. While this is a very mature community I would imagine that all spectators would have voice rights withdrawn?

Okay, anyone wanting to watch this event can buy tickets at the 355th homepage. You will receive a booklet with the flight info, and a nice memrobilia sticker to go with it. You get a discount if you bring more than 2 people, any one outside Europe, there are decent hotels near the airbase.

 

Get em now before you have to rely on the black marketeers.....:biggrin:

No, the Aerobatic Teams and the Controllers will be in seperate channels. But we will broadcast the radio chatter of TWR + Aerobatic Teams into the spectator channels. :D

Generally yes, but we don't want to have too much spectators at the Rehearsal Date... let us say max about 10... Furthermore, if one Aerobatic Team don't wants to have spectators watching them, you would have to leave the server while they're performing their display.

The Display will be introduced by a solo display, afterwards the Aerobatic Teams will depart. Since we don't know what aerobatic teams will appear to the rehearsal we haven't got a timetable yet.

Right now I'm discussing with Bublik whether we should create a timetable or decide a bit more spontaneously.

Would mean that all aerobatic teams who want to fly contact us during the Rehearsal via TS and tell us they want to fly. Then we'll look into our database and then we could tell them at what time the Team could fly.

 

But we'll publish further information soon. :D

You must use Loman 2.1 Patched to install and uninstall. Loman 5 WILL NOT WORK.

Good rehearsal everyone :D

 

Not everything was smooth. A few seconds after entering the mission our lead began to warp heavily (+- 200 m, I guess :)), slot got a force feedback failure in his joystick, immediately after take off we lost sight of the lead completely and had to improvise and reform - right wingman took the lead's position. But anyway that's what the rehearsals for.
