Radio Command Menu Doesn't Show in Some Missions

So I spent an hour or so today tweaking the multi-monitor and radio commands etc. using the info in some other threads and I'm having a bizarre issue with the radio menu not showing up in some missions.

 

I moved the radio menu and message log to my center monitor (3 screen eyefinity). I was testing using the KA50 South Ossetia Pirates Mission as I tweaked the menu, and positioned everything perfectly. My problem is that when I go into campaign missions or even the quick start missions the radio menu does not show up at all. Has anyone seen this before ? I've seen comments from folks that the radio menu is broken in 1.2.0 but is it really THIS broken ?

 

One odd thing is that it seems to be working in the few A10 Missions that I've tried. Also, I'm using the default \ for the radio menu.

Maybe some missions don't allow easy radio if you don't apply it to all missions in your options?

Don't remember where you would find the radio button or key for it.

Maybe right-Alt+\ ?

I'm having a similar issue. In DCS World 1.2.0 flying BS2 the radio menu is there during cold startup, but as soon as I lift off, I can't access it anymore (using \). This also happens in CA-enabled missions flying the KA-50. I haven't tried with the A-10 yet. But it happens with the KA-50 in every mission I've flown so far.

At first I thought the menu might have been displaced, but after pressing / the F keys don't lead to radio commands, but to views like they do normally. So the radio menu is not activated anymore. Just to stress this: in the very same session as long as I'm on the FARP it works fine.

So it seems my issue was that in some missions the radio menu was already on screen from the base/farp. While in others where I started in the air the menus didn't show up at all. This is why it looked as though the menus were only there "sometimes".

 

So I guess we now either have to use the SPU or simply enable easy communications.

Hi Folks,

 

got a similar issue with the Radio Command Menu display. My monitor setup is "Camera + RMFD" and since (re-)installing DCS World 1.2 and associated A10C and CA, the radio command menu now always shows up at the top right corner of my MFD but not my main screen ("Camera"). Despite it looks a bit odd, I even can't see it completely because my TM MFD bezel hides the rightmost part of the 8" monitor.

 

Is there an easy way to move the radio command menu back to my main screen without modding too much? I have no custom radio commands and I use the TM Warthog Throttle's Mic Key to access the menu.
