  1. Danke Peter, I will try on Tuesday - hopefully. That's wgen Swisscom promised to have a Technician around to find the source of disruption in their network that prevents the internet to work in the new appartment we just moved into. one with a dedicated room for my hobbies ... hmmm
  2. Hi Folks, got a similar issue with the Radio Command Menu display. My monitor setup is "Camera + RMFD" and since (re-)installing DCS World 1.2 and associated A10C and CA, the radio command menu now always shows up at the top right corner of my MFD but not my main screen ("Camera"). Despite it looks a bit odd, I even can't see it completely because my TM MFD bezel hides the rightmost part of the 8" monitor. Is there an easy way to move the radio command menu back to my main screen without modding too much? I have no custom radio commands and I use the TM Warthog Throttle's Mic Key to access the menu. Thx in advance. Greetings, Zenga
  3. While we're talking about MP... Is there a "guide" or somwhat similar about Do's & Dont's for playing (A-10C or CA) MP? What I'm looking for is a set of procedures what to do and how to behave correctly once logged in on any server. Just don't want to mess up any game or be rude due to not following the procedures... I can imagine it might have to do with what server you connect to.
  4. many thanks forall the replies! ok, maybe I should think about trying MP once. But I have to wait until mid September. Then, my wife and me will moe into a larger appartment with a room dedicated to nothing else but "Warthoging" :) Then, I won't bother her while yelling at the other guys on the field :music_whistling:
  5. Gentlemen, being a fan of DCS:A-10C from day one, I just took my chance and bought the CA-beta. I just had the time to play around 2-3 hours yesterday and went through the (brief) manual beginning to end. I'm a bit shy to ask, but can anyone tell me idiot how to call the circling Hogs above me when I'm acting as a JTAC and actually lase a target? I have not found any "radio button" or key assignement that let's me communicate with the air assets available. Or do I just have to lase the target and sit and wait until anyone has detected my laser beam and attacks the target (without any communication)? I'm speaking about Single Player here. In my desperate attempts yesterday, I even tried to use the button on the TM Warthog's Throttle that I use there to communicate with anybody when flying the A-10C... Can anyone help. Or is that functionality simply not yet included in the beta? Thanks in advance! Zenga
  6. Hey Gremlin, very nice progress! Never expected an A320 MCDU to look that nice in an A-10! Great implementation. Keep up the great work - it's quite inspiring!
  7. DM, great work again! The Pitot Heat Switch looks cool - did you bought it like that off the shelf or customized it yourself?
  8. reactorone, amazing job! I'm following your thread for a while now, but your last picture really made me going crazy. So far, this is the most advanced replica of any A-10C cockpit I've seen here! (hopefully not offending anybody else - I may just have overseen some other pictures ;) ) Even if it's not all 100% as the real one (like the engine instrument cluster which is positioned a bit more to the right - but I know why you did so) - it still gives an amazing impression of sitting in a real Hogpit! Very clean, very nicely assembled and just....impressive! Your last picture now serves as my example when somebody asks me what I'm planning to do in the next few years (I'll definitely not gonna be as fast as you). Tres bien, monsieur!!! Cheers, Zenga
  9. Nice work! I like the last picture. It gives this special feeling of a "cluttered" cockpit - just as it should be! Not so clean like in the 5th generation fighters... Great job, roiegat
  10. all running fine now, I also have the Cougar MFD temporarily attached to the 8" displa (I'll do some pics this afternoon). Just from ground test, it's killer immersion really! I've searched the forum up and down, but I didn't find the right posts: does anybody know from memory how to turn off the MFD in the main camera view (for performance purposes)? Thanks!
  11. You saved my day, Evader. Latest driver straight from displaylink and it works! What a shame I didn't look for them before. I was searching on the lilliput website itself though, but without any success. Now I can start adjusting the .lua file and get in nicely fitting within the Cougar MFD. Just did a first attempt and got the right MFD exported fine. It only covers the entire 8" display now (800x600), so I have to find out how I can shrink it to fit within the 4.9x4.9" area if the Cougar MFD... Thanks again folks for your kind help!!!
  12. Hi all, I desperately need a bit of help from some pros. Just bought a 8" USB monitor UM-80 /C/T from Lilliput. I intend to display one MFD from the A-10C on it. I installed the driver (Win 7 64-bit) from the CD that came along with the screen. As soon as I switch on the screen, on my main monitor I can see instantly a window opening, showing the first page of the driver installation process (this "yes, I accept the license and terms" thing). However, I didn't even manage to click on "accept" because less than half a second later, I find myself on a blue screen. This happened multiple times now. First I thought it's a power consumption issue, although I ran the UM-80 already with a powered USB hub. Then I stripped off all other USB devices that I have connected to my PC, leaving only the UM-80 and one Logitech Unifying receiver for keyboard and mouse. Same thing, I always end up with a blue screen. Then I installed the driver software on my notebook and tried if the screen works with my notebook - it does perfectly! The notebook has Windows 7 64-bit on it as well. Does anybody have a clue what the heck is going wrong with my PC? I've read the Lilliput's are quite popular, perhaps someone has observed a similar issue. these are my specs:
  13. Hi Flamin Squirrel, metalnwood also has offered some really great extensions. I just received mine this week - and it's great! Don't know if he still got some, but check here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=65881 Cheers
  14. I was thinking about that too....just then I realized DM is talking about a REAL stick, right? So that one comes with more than the 5-pins we have on our TM replicas....
