Razorback Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Hi, After some minutes spended with Combined Arms I have a lot of questions...héhéhé 1. Is it possible to select different sort of ammunition for the tank main gun (AP, HE, etc...) If yes how is it possible ? 2. When I want to engage an enemy vehicle, I choose the binocular in order to have the correct range of my target and then I select the main gun and place the reticle on the target with the appropriate distance. Is it the correct way to do ? An other solution ? 3. Lock and unlock the target is only for the SAM system ? 4. When I want to keep the zoom view on the main gun reticle, I have to keep te mouse button pushed, is it possible to keep this zoom with an other command ? Thx a lot for your answers...
ajax Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) 1. Yes. "E" cycles through the available weapon types and ammo. 2. ?? If it works, it is correct. 3. No, lock and unlock works for other ground vehicles. 4. You can use "+/=" key to lock zoom and "-/_" to lock unzoom. (This is for US keyboards... yours may be different.) shagrat Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) Lock the enemy, target type and distance appears in the lower left corner, have auto calculate aim point activated in CA settings and get the reticule over the corrected marker it still doesn't correct for wind, but elevation and movement... and to say that loud and clear: no I don't consider that cheating! Every decent modern Tank (Leopard, M1, Leclerc, Challenger) has laser range finders and combat computer compensating automatically.
