"Connection interrupted" possible fix - devs check this please

I noticed i have a lot of "connection interrupted" errors trying to fly in MP when editing files in script folder. The reason i need to edit files is to use multi monitor setup, and to get debrief, rearm and comms window to display properly on my main screen. If i dont edit files, those windows are shown on my extended monitor.

Got a 6 screens configuration with heavily edited lua files for all kind of reasons (including the rearm window re centering) without the "connection interrupted" anymore by setting the "connexion speed" to LAN in the MP settings screen. I think this is the more commonly solution used to bypass those pesky disconnections.

 

I've been having a lot of problems connecting to MP lately with constant CTD's accessing the master server list. In fact we had to cancel our session last night because no one could get in after an hour of trying. I saw this post afterward , I know it's for a different issue , but I set the Speed to LAN and it let me right in to the Master List. I just don't know if that was coincidence and it is too early to tell if it's works consistently.

Auest gives me the same error and I can not connect. I have the latest version of DCS. 1.2.1.6288. Any suggestion?

I have a fresh install on my desktop, current version, Win7 64, no mods and I get the "Connection interrupted" message. Ther are a few random servers that I can connect to from the server list, but I never see more than 8-10 in there anyway. Connect by IP doesn´t work either, just gives the same message.

With the install on my laptop, also current version, Win7 64, no mods, I can see many more servers on the list at the same time (~20) and I get no troubles connecting to any of them.

Very annoying, since I get much lower FPS, resolution etc. on the laptop and it´s supposed to be nothing but an "emergency" solution.

Should one open a ticket or wait for a response here?

Better open a ticket to get your money back...

This is embarrassing, these are faster charging than solving problems

upupandaway, my first guess would be you have different versions (let's say 1.2.0 and 1.2.1) on your computers.

I know it sounds "dumb", but please check that first ;)

I can assure you the version is the current one. This is really not the problem. I´ve also tried changing the connection and disabling anti virus software. It simply doesn´t work. Guess I´ll have to open a support ticket.
