Following the recent activity in regards to contract renewals for specific aircraft modules we were in the process of developing and heavily invested in, the following conclusions were made regarding moving forward with DCS module development: DCS will no longer be our primary development platform. That said; we are committed to getting Hawk out of early access and released as soon as possible. This will involve updated PBR cockpit textures, bug fixes for major systems, bugs recorded internally with ED and any found with future DCS patches as ongoing maintenance. Development of P-40F for DCS will resume but will not take precedence of development over other platforms. We maintain that we do not expect to release P-40F prior to 2.5 and a release schedule will be confirmed when the module is ready for beta. When P-40F is ready for review in DCS; we will, as previously agreed with TFC arrange an acceptance demonstration with a view of releasing the aircraft to you, the public. Development work on our other aircraft will no longer continue for DCS. If, at a suitable time, we however convert these assets for DCS we will confirm this in due course when the aircraft is ready for release, not during its development cycle. Chris and I along with the entire VEAO family appreciate the support of the DCS Community during this time and continuing into the future of our modules in DCS world. Qualcuno ha anche dato alla veao un consiglio indubbiamente molto valido e sa seguire: I'd be really glad if VEAO transferred the development of the P-40 to ED. Diversamente.... il fatto che il prodotto non sia sufficiente non implica che la VEAO ci abbia speso dei soldi. Quindi non è certo un gesto di volontà della VEAO quanto della ED, poichè dovrebbe aprire una trattativa per l'acquisto di quanto già sviluppato, poi apprendere tutto il codice scritto da terzi, eventualmente modificarlo, quindi finalizzarlo. Non so quanto ci scommetterei. Sull' Hawk il fatto di poter chiedere o meno il rimborso penso dipenda banalmente dal fatto che fosse o meno specificato nella licenza di pre-acquisto. Se c'è, ottimo. Il tutto nasce da una domanda: "il rifacimento del codice dell'Hawk continuerà così come previsto sinora oppure riceverà solo qualche fix di emergenza?" a questa domanda risponde un utente (cichlidfan) non VEAO dicendo "Se non continuasse penso sarà naturale poter chiedere il rimborso". Questa risposta si basa sul fatto che il rifacimento è necessario perchè la ED consenta a far uscire dall'early access il modulo. VEAO risponde così: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3224941&postcount=26 Ovvero che il rifacimento proseguirà, anche per assicurare la compatibilità con i futuri update. Dopo questa risposta c'è FalcoBlu e diversi altri che augura il miglior successo per il futuro (sarcasm?), un paio che postano la loro indifferenza o dicono che è giusto così (sinceri?) e clafly che, forse appunto perchè non ha capito, mette un +1000 al post di cichlidfan di cui sopra. Altri post in cui si parla di "refund" non ce ne sono nel thread sino a quel momento. Scrivo prima che magari qualcuno pensi che la VEAO sta acconsentendo al refund in qualsivoglia maniera... Soprattutto perchè non è mai stata definita una durata dell'early access (per quanto assurdamente lunga sia) e perchè hanno dichiarato che continueranno a sviluppare il rifacimento dell' Hawk ed i bug-fix. Se vuoi il refund, penso che la cosa più logica sia scrivere una mail privatamente al loro support e chiederlo. Magari hai più speranza di ottenerlo così che dichiarando la tua volontà in un forum in cui magari altri 100-500-1000 utenti potrebbero decidere di seguirti così, per spirito di partecipazione.
