cichlidfan
Very cool. They promised some good flyovers. You got a few good frames (0:07-0:12) that could be turned into a potentially decent photo. Hammer
When I first saw it, it was too late for a shot of its approach . I was in awe because it was huge and menacing as it was at 300ft!

Hammer
I Agree Cat. I also think it should have been put in a museum in the S.F. Bay Area instead as there is a lot of NASA development here.
cichlidfan
I Agree Cat. I also think it should have been put in a museum in the S.F. Bay Area instead as there is a lot of NASA development here. Face it, with as much of a 'contest' as there was over the shuttles, you (and I) are lucky there is one in your state at all. :) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Hammer
Well when it was up here in the bay area, it was escorted by an F-15C from the National Guard. Other videos I think there were T-18's. It landed in Los Angeles to put into am Air and Space museum down there.
cichlidfan
FYI-- Here is where they all are ending up. Shuttle Enterprise will go to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York. The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia will become the new home for shuttle Discovery. Shuttle Endeavour will go to the California Science Center in Los Angeles. Shuttle Atlantis will be displayed at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex in Florida. New York and Virginia are moved to where they will stay. CA you know about and the one in Florida is still being prepped for display AFIAK. EDIT: There is also a full size engineering model on display outdoors in Huntsville, Alabama. You can see it quite nicely on Google Earth. Once you find the shuttle, you will see all sorts of interesting stuff on display nearby.
