FWIW, I just fixed the same problem yesterday by uninstalling, deleting the save directory and the program directory, and reinstalling. Make sure you deactivate first.

And no, repair didn't cut it for me. I think the upgrader was corrupt; it didn't want to let me delete it at first.

post your systems specs and have a look in yourname/saved games/DCS/LOGS for your crash logs

Hi All,

I'm having nothing but constant crashes too since the last update. Something I have never had with and version of DCS until now. I have yet to complete a single mission without a crash (since the final update).

I have done a complete uninstall (including saved games & DCS directory). No problems with the reinstall, but still constant crashing???

My crashes occur as either:

Windows "DCS has stopped responding message"

Blue Screen of Death followed by memory dump

PC locks then does a complete reboot.

I am having no issues with Windows or any other applications.

I have flown for as long as 10 minutes before a crash, but more often than not it crashes after a few minutes. My crash logs are showing violation errors - similar to BIGNEWY).

Any help would be appreciated.

It may just be coincidence for me but my system is a lot more stable after a fresh install of windows, and returning my BIOS to a default state as I was over-clocking.

What are your system spec's ?

Do you run the sim on high settings ?

I would keep a record of your crash logs and also the associated event in windows event viewer, try to build a pattern for your crashes and then work from there.

Above all keep the faith its worth it :)
