Has anybody already ran a performance test between current Windows 7 and the latest RC of Windows 8?

And if yes, any results?

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!

Eweryone is satisfied with the win7 64 bit and don't do dual boot just to test this. Best guess on comparing the 2 is the review sites.

Since we are on the DCS forum, i thought my question was obvious enough but looking at the first answer, it's not :music_whistling: so i will add a few words to the initial question to make it more clear.

Here go's:

Has anybody already ran a performance test on DCS World (or any of the stand alone sims) between current Windows 7 and the latest RC of Windows 8?

And if yes, any results?

Some info on performance that is done on a testbed.

The reviewer sites is the best to do this stuff you know.

EDIT: There is not much difference between the two so for DCS I will say the performance gain must be marginal. There how ever are some interesting features in windows 8 but also some negative things.
