I upgraded to the latest version and now when I attempt a cold start I can't get my MFCD panels to turn on. I'm following the same procedure I've used countless times and there is no error on the error panel thing.

Some one please help.

Have you set the L & R MFCD power switches set to either Day or Night and CICU to on?

If the answer to the above is yes, then supply a track.

Yeah.. I struggled with that for an hour. I believe in a previous version of the sim the MFCD's would be powered on by default after CICU was turned on. Now we have to turn each L&R display from "off" to "day" or "night."

(hadn't for quite a while I can't say when the change)

Usually when I have a minor brain malfunction during start up I just check the checklist again... usually its something stupid.

"Hey... uhhhh I seem to be losing airspeed... but I'm below stall speed and still flying....???"

"Did you turn on your Pitot Heat switch?"

"DURRRRRRRR"

Its usually between that and the cabin air flow for me. :P

Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.

Yup I think you nailed it. OP is probably upgrading from a much prior version where those MFCDs lit up automatically with CICU. Now you have to click the power knobs at the bottom left corner of each mfcd to either day or night as they are turned 'off' by default.

I have been trying the Cold & Dark procedures and am arriving at the same problem as OP. The Tutorial suggests a double-left click to turn the MFCDs ON but in my implementation it takes a double right-click to move the switch(s) to `DAY'. I've waited patiently to see whether the align is the problem but still no joy; the MFCDs (so lovely if you join a flying mission) do not work from cold.
