Skitter Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Hi. I have exported my A-10 MFCD's to a second monitor. The second monitor is on my left side and I use it only for the MFCD's, so I get problem when I switch to CA. This is of course logical. I wonder if it's possible to set up a separate configuration in the DCS World, only to be used by CA, without modifying the A-10 one ? I would like to configure CA, to play on a single monitor. If it's possible, would much appreciate hints.
S77th-ReOrdain Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Various monitor configurations located in the DCS World\Config\MonitorSetup folder. Try using a different one by selecting it from the in game options menu, or edit one of the defaults to suit your needs (backup just in case), although next auto-update may restore if you screw up. If, you're going from 2 screens to single screen, you may also need to select a different aspect ratio (or not) to get the view you want. Give it a try.
agrasyuk Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Yeah, the only option to accomplish this is to go to options and manually select monitor profile. Have to do this while switching between BS and WH as I export the mfcds and skval to different locations. I too would like a more comfortable way to accomplish this, basically tie a profile to a given module... Anton. My pit build thread . Simple and cheap UFC project
CAT_101st Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 I realy like this idea and it can be expanded on. Just being able to have the F10 view or map on a seppret screen would be great. It would have to be dun just like exporting the MFCD's with its own lines in the multimoniter setup .lua This would open up having a live map on posably a USB screen that you can pick up an look at wile flying. Much like using a pad for a map in genral avation. but with a few more options in the sim.
