Recently re downloaded DCS:World and install the a-10 and bs2 addons. but every time i try to login it says "cant connect to master server" i've read the forums a couple times.

things i've tried:

DMZ zone on router > no go

Directly connect to modem > no go

Reinstalled a couple of times > no go

Changed password of DCS website > no go

Computer date and time are correct > no go

Here are the dcs logs:

00009.326 INFO NET: client has started
00022.502 ERROR NET: Can't connect to Master: SSL connect error
00022.502 ERROR NET: Master login : 503
00024.488 INFO NET: client has stopped

Fire up DCS world.

Does the version number say 1.2.2.7570?

00022.502 ERROR NET: Master login : [b][color="Red"]503[/color][/b]

On first look, that does seem to be a server-sided error.

OTOH, if "only you" have that error, then the above hypothesis is moot.

I just made the test : I'm connecting. So the master server is not off at the moment.

Did you check that all your serials were linked to the account you're using?

To do that:

1/ http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/myserials.php

2/ log-in with the same account as the one you're using in MP application

3/ check that all your installed modules are listed

If not:

4/ search to which other account (one of yours) the "missing" modules are binded

5/ on the same page (link above) but while logged with the "other" account, unbind the modules

6/ re-try the MP logon ; if successful, it will automatically re-bind all un-binded modules to the current account.

Remark: To be honest, I'm not sure that is your problem. Indeed, the "binding problem" is (mostly?) related to the "Invalid Serial Number" error message, which is not what you said you were getting. Use the above at your own risk (the check 1-3 is inoccuous).

Tried your recommendation, still have the same problem. The two modules that i have purchased are listed in the account im trying to login with. Would it make a difference if i purchased dcs: a-10 on steam and linked it to the account im useing?

Re downloaded the stand alone version from steam and tried to login the multiplayer with that one still cant access it.

but the error is different:

00005.906 DEBUG NET: client has started
00020.617 ERROR NET: Can't connect to Master: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates
00020.617 ERROR NET: Master login : 503
00022.671 DEBUG NET: client has stopped

What antivirus and local firewall do you use? If using the local Windows 7 firewall enabled try a short period with that disabled.

Jack

ESET have tried with it turned off

windows 7 firewall has been turned off for some time now, never used it :)

EDIT: turned firewall to interactive mode and the error verbage changed but still the same 503 code:

00008.916 INFO NET: client has started
00013.066 ERROR NET: Can't connect to Master: Couldn't connect to server
00013.066 ERROR NET: Master login : 503
00015.301 INFO NET: client has stopped

I would de-activate, uninstall and then re-install with a fresh download. Only load A-10 at first.

Does the Single player work ok?

Also what are you system specs including internet connection?

Strange. Have you tried updating Directx and .NET drivers?

directx was up to date just installed .net 4. something takes a lot longer to kick out the login as "cannot connect to server" but still getting the error 503 in the logs

After screwing around with it a bit more, every time i click "retrieve password" and put in my username or e-mail and click OK it pops up with and error saying "something went wrong, sorry" Also, does the same thing when i try to register a new account.

Connection issues to DCScombatsimulator

I have the connection errors:mad: Already pulled all my hair out. I have purchased modules that I cannot use. The lack of support from the forums & DCS support is driving me mad.

Please can someone assist. I have`nt uninstalled ESET security, & wonder IF anyone has an alternative fix? :helpsmilie:

Connection errors at what point cameraman?

And about the lack of support from the forums- Many, many users of the forum spend hours and hours and hours in here trying to help out. You may want to reconsider the way you word that.
