Su27/33 Skin

I have just a question, because is it normal that the Su27 AND the Su-33 from FC3 look like this?:

 

 

I've read that there is a new model coming and I'm not sure if it's already released or not.. Just look at the pic.. ^^

FC3 is in beta, and the Su-27 is not up-to-date in the current open beta.

 

That said, this looks like a mip-mapping problem. What is your hardware, drivers and your game configuration?

My hardware is not the problem.

 

I have found an other issue: On the airport "Kutasi - Kvitiri" the wheel suddendly "fell down into the ground" on the runway and I could even move with afterburner. I think that's a bug, isn't it? Here is a screen:

EtherealN is right, su27\33 models are 10 years old, but definitely there is something wrong with your video settings.

Ya, sry, but I meant that there is maybe a problem with the installation because everything other looks pretty good.

 

Wait some min. and I'll post my options :)

Ok, now I got it to look like this:

 

I had to set from medium to high at textures. I haven't expected this because really all other planes are looking very amazing in medium ;) Sry ^^

As 159th_Viper hinted, you definitely have some room for improvement.

 

Also, have you tried the new 3GO skin from HungaroJET? Combatace's Su-33 Model 1.3?

Andi what video card are you using? It's possible it's the card's graphic software over riding the game graphic setting. I'm not talking about the driver.

 

I had this issue when using ATI CCC software. I was over riding some 3D application settings such as the Anti aliasing and the Anisotropic filtering. When I switched them to game controlled it fixed it.

There are some default textures that look really bad. I made a mission with every skin lined up on the tarmac for the SU-33 and some were really bad. Most people just haven't taken notice because they are not often used skins. I haven't looked at the SU-27s yet though.
